Astronaut Robot

The Era of Artificial Intelligence is Moving Forward
You might watch the film "A. I." by Steven Spielberg. Then, you may remember the central child character of that film named David. David was a robot that was precisely simulates as human. Well, our science has not gone so far to create a robot as like David. But, many research and experiments are going around us that give us a hope that creating a David like robot is not so far. In this article, you can find some information of recent innovations of human-like robot.
Japanese automobile manufacturer Honda created a humanoid robot called ASIMO in the year of 2000. This robot can run on its two feet with a speed of 6 kilometer per hour. ASIMO can also waves and greet a person with handshake. It also can recognize at least 10 persons face and can greet them by speaking their name.
Vietnamese manufacturing company TOSY Robotics created a robot called Topio in 2007. Topio can play ping pong with any person. ASIMO and Topio have robotic appearance but what if a robot looks like a real human. In 2003, Actroid was created in Japan with human like appearance. Specially manufactured Silicon skin gives this robot a appearance like a young Japanese women. Actroid could speak, blink and breathe.
HRP-4C is the most human-like appearance robot yet made by Japanese National Institute of Advances Industrial science and technology in 2009. This 5 feet 2 inch robot is designed to look almost like a real young Japanese woman. It can sing and execute dance. It is also capable of giving facial expression with surprise or anger. This robot was created mainly for entertainment purpose.
In 2010, NASA created a space-walker robot called Robonaut 2. This advances robot can perform maintenance task of space stations with its robotic arm fingers. It can also be used to work on planetary surface by receiving instruction from astronauts.
Surena 2 was developed by Iran in 2010. This robot can perform smooth walk much more like human but at slower pace. Surena team is still working for it's faster movement and improving speech and vision. This robot will be capable of working in home, medical and industrial environment with these improvements in future.
The other types of robots are not appeared as human but can do the tasks that are traditionally performed by human. Like a pilot flies an airplane but there are airplanes that can fly without pilot. U.S. Navy use such a aircraft like Northrop Grumman RQ-4 Global Hawk. Research and experiments are successfully carried out all over the world for making a self-driving ground vehicle as well. You can visit the link to know more information and news about these experiments.

how is the planet Uranus a big body of collected gas material? (especially since so far from Sun)?
is this in essence what Uranus is? what about Pluto or Jupiter? what are they composed of?
and would it ever be possible to land on uranus? even if sent a robot astronaut?
would some say it is like an illusion then? since it doesnt have a concrete form? how and why so?
Mira gave a good answer.
About the only thing I would add is that a planet has to be far enough away for the temperature to be low enough to form a gas giant, but close enough to have enough material to form a planet.
In other words, Uranus and Neptune are too far away to have formed in their current orbits. It's believed that the resonance between Jupiter's and Saturn's orbit created a situation where Uranus and Neptuned were pushed outward by Jupiter's and Saturn's combined gravity while the resonance helped stabilize the orbits of Jupiter and Saturn.
Planets too close to the Sun are warmer and can't form as a gas giant, but, just as planets can be pushed outward by other objects, they can be pushed inward, as well. While that didn't happen in our solar system, we have seen solar systems with gas giants too close to their Sun to have formed in their present orbits.
The color depends on the gases of the planet and the temperature. Uranus and Neptune appear blue because the temperature is low enough for a methane 'atmosphere', while Jupiter is redder because of its warmer location closer to the Sun where methane would not be as abundant.
Which brings up an interesting mistake in the movie, Avatar. The movie takes place on a moon, Pandora, that orbits a blue planet. While it's possible for a blue gas giant to migrate inwards (as mentioned above), being close enough and warm enough to have a habitable moon means the planet would lose its methane and be redder than Jupiter instead of blue.
And, yes, Pandora has to rely on sunlight as an energy source or it wouldn't have trees. There's no advantage for plants to climb skyward unless their primary energy source is from the Sun.
