Monster Studio Beats by Dre Repair?

I recently received the Monster Studio Beats by Dre as a gift, however the product may be defective. The bass on the left driver is bigger then the bass on the right driver. As it was a gift, I don't have the receipt for it, so I can't send it in to warranty. Is there anywhere in Edmonton, AB, to get them repaired? Or is there any way to fix them myself? Thanks.
