Finding Retro Star Wars Figures on a Budget
Fans in search of discount old-fashioned star wars figures will know that it is not a simple chore. With thousands of movie buffs all over the world, lots of the best star wars figures have already been snapped up, only to be displayed again at expensive auctions. Despite this, there is hope for smart fans…and after years of hunting I should know. My star wars figures compilation is now large enough that I don't need much more. So although I am constantly browsing for more, I believe that I can give you a few of my smart sources for good value and cheap star wars figures.
1. Facebook
Publicise your expanding collection of star wars figures on Facebook - many people have a few of their childhood star wars figures in the attic. As your buddy there is more chance that they will give you a decent price on them, and this is how I got many of my top star wars figures for less!
2. Scan The Classifieds
Searching classifieds advertisements for star wars figures is common practice, and these are usually costly as the person advertising understands they are dealing with a fan who is genuinely keen. An easier way is to pay for an advert asking people to come forward with star wars figures, and this way you can set a fair price confidently.
3. FInd Cheap Auctions
This is usually regarded as a very costly way to get good quality star wars figures. Despite this, if you get your technique right and make a late offer you can often come away with some wonderful prices.
4. Car Boot Sales
Yard sales are seen as a way for people to dispose of their rubbish, but if they consider old star wars figures to be junk it could be an excellent way to find a great deal!
5. Charity Shops
Get discount Amanaman Figures
and assist a good foundation by browsing the toy area of charity shops. Pricing is often not based on collector valuations, so they are absolutely worth a browse.
6. Online Auctions
Ebay is a great source for low cost star wars figures, but you must be vigilant and ensure that the item is real. Politely make enquiries using the best of your wisdom on star wars figures and always bid late so you do not put up the price too quickly.
7. Thrift Shops
You never know what you will find in second hand shops, but if you let the merchant know that you are interested in star wars figures and leave them your phone number they are bound to give you a call if they find any.

This is a wonderful way to make contacts with other collectors of star wars figures, and even though you are not guaranteed to find the lowest priced prices here you can always organise a swap!
The top thing to keep in mind when looking for star wars figures is to never give up! You never know where the next one will be found, from junk sales to high brow auctions, there are lots of offers to be found on cheap star wars figures.

Just wondering whats the cost on Vintage Star wars figures? I have a lot of them (loose)?
I have a lot of Star wars action figures. Most from 1978..but some others from 80/81.
Most have the weapons and they are in excellent condition.
I need help on where to sell them and what the cost would be for them.
I deal in vintage Star Wars figures on Ebay. The best way that I have found is to sell them in large lots on ebay if you have quite a few. The value also depends upon the figure, country of origin (No stamped country of origin is more valuable than one stamped Hong Kong for the most part). Weapons and accessories can bring just as much as the figures themselves. Just do some research on Ebay to get the expected value. I list my large lots starting at .99cents and more often than not get the full value out of them at auction end. Some rare figures to look for: Blue Snaggletooth, any figures from the Power of the Force Line(Most dated 1984-1985), 1977 R2-D2 with a good sticker is hot now.
